Berks County Parrot Head Club Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, February 2, 2010
Third & Spruce
Phounding Phather and President “Denny Lorah” welcomed all members to the
meeting. Sign-in sheets and name tags were available at the door. Denny reminded
everyone to sign in.
Denny saluted Cabin Fever Festival, and the two great charities who helped make
it such a successful day, even in tough times. We really had some cool auction
items!
The president asked if everyone received the minutes; everyone did. The
president asked for a motion to approve the minutes. Mike Gaetani made the
motion, Kathey Cahill seconded it, and a vote was taken to approve the minutes.
The Treasurer’s report was given by Tim Kraft. He doesn’t yet have a total for
what was raised at Cabin Fever, but it was definitely a successful event. Last
year we raised $12,500 and Tim feels confident that we did even better this
year!
A motion was made by Kris Johnson to accept the Treasurer's report and a second
was made by Joanne Muzyka. A vote was taken and the report was approved.

- Membership cards will be used for multiple years, to save money and resources.
The new membership badges are larger (to make it easy to read people’s names)
and will be updated with yearly stickers, rather than replaced each year (to
eliminate the need to create brand new cards every year).

the second Monday of the month at Denny and Tina’s house.

for the reduced rate. It’s April 10 at the Crowne Plaza in Wyomissing. There’s a
five hour open bar.

we are much closer to a cure now, especially with our recent donation to JDRF
from Summer Daze.

will sell children’s clothes to benefit JDRF. The website is
www.dolceandbananakids.com. They have cute kids clothes, and some adult clothes,
