≈ For January’s Cabin Fever party, we’ll focus on children’s charities. We have
two worthy organizations, but couldn’t make them work separately, so we’ll have
two charities for the winter party. Both charities will speak at meetings in the

future events.

Sponsorship Committee Meeting Minutes
Guest Chairperson: Sherrie Hallowell
There was no report (and no blonde joke!).
Other Info for Good of Club:
Denny said he was apprehensive about having two charities for the winter party,
but the committee and board have worked through most of the concerns. He’s sure
it will be a success, just because of the way we drive events.
Marilyn had a joke about Alaska. She also mentioned the upcoming parades.
Brian Gentry thanked the Fischer family for all their help in getting the float
ready for the July 4th parade, and all the volunteers who participated. He
talked about how incredibly fun it is to hand out beads to kids along the parade
route. Because of that, he’s ordered a full container of beads, currently on a
ship from China. When it arrives, we’ll have 38,000 pounds of beads!!
Also, we’ll participate in a parade on Nov 28 Myerstown, where we’re storing
float in a great safe/dry facility.
The President asked for a motion for the meeting to adjourn. A motion was made
by Kris Johnson to adjourn the meeting; a vote was taken and the meeting was
adjourned.
