Berks County Parrot Head Club Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Third & Spruce
Phounding Phather and President “Denny Lorah” welcomed all members to the
meeting. Membership renewal forms were available at the door. Denny reminded
everyone to sign in.
Denny saluted Brian Gentry, who rented a motor yacht during MOTM and took the
whole group to Little Palm Island!!
We also saluted Mac McAnally, who won Musician of the Year at the Country Music
Awards last week.
The president asked if everyone received the minutes; everyone did. The
president asked for a motion to approve the minutes. Bob Rhode made the motion,
Duane Cahill seconded it, and a vote was taken to approve the minutes.
The Treasurer’s report was given by Tim Kraft. While preparing for our fiscal
year end, Tim noticed the amounts we donated over the last two years and wanted
to share the numbers with the group: we donated over $47,000 in 2008, and almost
$44,000 in 2009!!
A motion was made by Jodi Blatt to accept the Treasurer's report and a second
was made by Karen Fischer. A vote was taken and the report was approved.
